Kahla, February 2013 – Around the world, touch!, the velvety surface on porcelain delights customers who appreciate good design and tactile experiences. Until now, touch! was mainly used as an area surface. Now the tactile experience is about to change again. With KAHLA touch! Pixel, for the first time fine grids are introduced, which also gives the porcelain an entirely new look. Whether as "Dots", the delicate band of dots, or as "Squares", a mosaic with subtle colour gradients: You are most certainly invited to touch these little feel-good islands.

Heart motifs: From the heart with lots of heart

What better way to show your feelings than with some special tender loving care? Just in time for Valentine’s Day, KAHLA presents its own touch! hearts collection. Lovers can surprise their special someone with four different motifs:  Heart ribbon, 100 hearts, I love you or Lucky heart – all in a beautiful rich red, which is guaranteed to win her heart. And of course not only on February 14th, but also on Mother"s Day, for birthdays or whenever it is another good time to say: "I love you!"

Animal motifs: Welcome to the petting zoo

With six new animal motifs, KAHLA invites you to the wild animal kingdom. Whether elephant or buffalo, tiger, panda, polar bear or penguin: they are depicted in woodcut-like designs in their natural environment on the banderole around the cup – and are of course completely tame.

KAHLA touch! is a unique porcelain with a velvety surface. The soft material invites touching and serves as insulation for hot beverages. touch! is available in many bright colours and a variety of motifs, such as a collection of famous city skylines. In addition, the design of touch! can be customized with laser engravings. The unique touch! technology was patented by KAHLA and was rated "100 percent fit for everyday use" because the surface is food-safe, dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe. Even the critical consumer report magazine "Öko-Test" (04/2009) enthusiastically gave touch! the highest mark "very good".
